Thank you Paul, I'm trying to learn as much about these operators as possible, so hopefully I can protect myself. And I'll never learn if I don't ask questions. I'm dismayed to find so many suits in my county from Worldwide, though.

Midland has an interesting paragraph in their SEC report on litigation. The average purchase for all three seemed to be about 2% of face value. I assume most of the big debt buyers have the same ratio. One, Asset I think, mentioned how they were using collection attorneys more frequently, and paying about 15-20% contingency, in cases where a judgment was likely to produce a recovery. Don't think I liked reading this.

My SOL for bringing suit isn't clear cut, and I'm lying low until my one attachable asset is sold. I'm contemplating asking for validation. All I remember returning was a pre-approved announcement 10 years ago.

In the meantime, the CA can leave all the messages with lies they want to on my answering machine.
