At this time I'm not sure, but some of my thoughts would be: Failing to send signed agreements before payments are started; Staff using language and tone of voice to infer that they are lawyers and evading a direct questions; Claiming to be licensed in a particular state; Charging interest in violation of state disclosure laws; Threats of suits; Breaking verbal covenants. I am sure there may be more. If you have info please help. I am planning on contacting our local DA as well the clients involved and their respective state agencies. Thanks!
