I've had some serious problems with Soffar. I'll start from the beginning but its kind of long. About a year ago I received a call at work from somebody who said his name was Patrick Nolting. He threatened to sue me, tell my boss every thing he knows about my finances, etc. I did'nt realize my rights at the time so I agreed to let them deduct $100 every two weeks from my checking account. This went on for about 9 or 10 months when I finally filed bk. When I decided to file my attorney said to stop paying them, so I contacted my bank and put an end to that arrangement. I got a call from Patrick again about a week later, who again threatened me. He called my wife at home, while I was listening, and she very politely told him I wasn't there and she was busy and hung up. Patrick called back a few minutes later and I answered the phone. He told me my wife cussed out "the attorney" and hung up on him. Patrick went on to threaten me some more before he yelled "you're getting sued!" and hung up. The next day at work I didn't take his call but he told a co-worker of mine who answered the phone that I was being sued and he needed to know the process for where papers needed to be served at our office. Patrick again called back the next week and accused our secretary, who is a sweet elderly lady, of screening my calls and he told her she was a liar and he proceeded to yell and hang up on her. I guess they eventually got notice I had filed bk and I haven't heard back from them. They're a real classy bunch over there.
