You might want to read this lawyer’s suit against Bronson & Migliaccio, another Collect America franchise like Cambece for flagrant violations of the FDCPA similar to what you experienced.

Collect America’s franchises must be branching out to collect for
Worldwide Asset Management also (another pennies on the dollar debt buyer)

The suit was worth $4000 to his client
