BK and using cards

I am thinking of filing for BK but have used 2 of my cards in the last month (for eye care stuff and gas). Can I still file and ask that these be discharged? I read somewhere about waiting 6 months but I don't have time for that. MBNA, through W&A, has sent arbitration papers and I am afraid of being sued before 6 months.
