In the state where I am from New Mexico, you cant use the cards for at least 60 days of filing, otherwise a court can rule to make you pay those credit cards off and cant get them in BK because you charged them and then claimed bankrupcy on them, which you used them knowing you were going to claim BK. I would suggest cutting them up and go see a lawyer and see what the law says about it in your state.
