call and talk to someone in the company..preferably in customer service,, NOT whoever answers the phone. you need someone with authority. usually they will work with you...most...citi wouldnt us..but yes, watch paying the extra as it might not go to any payment but the principal..and it might mess up things even worse. a month behind they wont foreclose..altho it will hurt your credit..(mine is so shot it doesnt matter)..but try hard somehow to save ....or something and make 2 payments when you can to catch up. usually if you tell them..they will work with you..just so they know you are trying and times are tough for ya right now. ALWAYS try to tell secured loans whats up..CC wont give a $hit but cars..houses..they usually will work with ya. use that 50 a week to save and stay a month behind for now. they reallly dont foreclose for that short a time unless they are really jerks or you already are in foreclosure as i was..long story lol...let us know what they tell ya. i know its embarassing to say "im having trouble right now with cash flow" but most will listen and are glad you keep them informed. i have been a month behind for years, lol.
