I recently answered a complaint on a law suit concerning a credit card. This was from an Attorney representing a CA. Just received letter wanting to settle. However, they want the full amount in 5 days or will set up a monthly payment that is entirely imposssible. What do I do next. If I had that much money I would not be where I am now. This account is within the SOL but was charged off Nov. 03, last payment May 03. They have not validated the debt.
