The trustee looks to see what your income/debt ratio is. He will look at your assets. He is not interested in your household furnishings, electronics, or clothing. This stuff just isn't worth anything at sheriff sale.
You will have to list it all though. Not pleasant, but don't worry about it. Your vehicle will also be exempt unless you are driving around in something very expensive. So, in your case, it will all depend on debt/income ratio.

NOW about that bank account that belongs to your paretns. I THINK THAT IS A PROBLEM. Hopefully Lady will respond. She is the bk expert, and usually responds to post where bk is the subject. You may need to get that money out of your name and find another way for you to get to the money if necessary.
