I have to disagree with only one thing if a CA buys this acct and have the ability to report to the CBR that they are the new owners of this acct and if the acct is still in Ferderal Statue then they have a responsibilty to report to the CBR what status is on that acct. I am sorry to say that if that is acct is out of State Statue but still in FS and u made a payment then they will start the FS all over again... My advise would be to pay as agreed and when possible if you have not already negotiated an lower amount to pay ask. See what u can get, ask for what u want u may be surpised ... get a letter of agreement keep to payment schulde and always get a paid in full letter when finished , because now since the cat is out of the bag. IF this acct gets sold by mistake to another CA w out the updates frm the company you just settled w reporting on the CBR then Boy here we go agin,.. other then that good information on judgement info . good luck
