CRAs dont have to validate..only verify./ should the company send back yes its her account..it stays. watch settling so the balance isnt sold to another CA and you start again. also CAs dont care what you send as way of "proof" --one cant prove a negative and never give a Ca any personal info on yourself at all. most of us want to pay...we CANT. most CAs wont validate a damn thing. call a CA to dispute? lol. you do all this and they have all the ammo and will take you to court in 2 secs...complete with proof..and proof you care about your credit and will pay. if not..you just showed them all your cards in case of a lawsuit. sorry..my 2 cents..i dont agree with this poster at all. ..make payments to a CA? you are kidding! call a Ca to dispute the amount? you just admitted it was your debt doin that! then pay them and they up the payments and sue you anyways! sheesh. my opinion only*
