Why Chat, Lady in Red -Anyone, please??????

This weekend I received a collection letter from a Bass & Associates (collection law firm)stating that they are sending me what I requested: a print out of the account I had with HSN and a page showing that this account was sold by a former collection agency to Bass. First of all, I never requested ANYTHING from Bass as I have never even heard of them prior to this!
Also, I live in the state of Georgia and I think the sol on charge accounts runs out after 3 years. If I am incorrect, please let me know. My Expirian credit report says that the date of last activity on this account was 10/00 but the print out from HSN that Bass sent states that last payment was 4/01!! What do I do next??????????
