What happens if I didn't declare bankruptcy but I no longer live in the USA. I lost my mother to cancer and I just was overwhelmed with medical bills and living expenses. I racked up quite a bit a LOT of debt with those low interest balance transfer checks. Some like MBNA deposited it right into my checking account!

Anyway, I can't pay them back but I don't live in the USA anymore. I moved to my native Mexico to live with my family. Can I be sued if they never serve me papers? What will happen other than bad credit on my CR's?

Also, is there anything different since I didn't actually buy items and got cash advances?
