Yes, Worldwide Asset Management is listed with the Georgia SOS office, but Worldwide Asset Purchasing, LLC is not. WAPurchasing is listed as the new OC on the letter I received, and they're listed as plaintiff on hundreds of suits filed in my state (MO). In this state, too, all it takes for a CA from outside the state to bring suit is to be represented by an attorney licensed in MO. If my situation gets to court (I haven't been served just threatened), I wanted to tell the judge I have searched for some proof this company existed, and found none. Shouldn't I be provided something substantive that I am being sued by a real live organization? I don't know if a judge would require anything or just take attorney's word that his client is for real. I suspect here is some relationship between WAManagement and WAPurchasing, but I don't know the link. I don't know the rules about naming and registering. Can anyone slap an official sounding name together that ends in LLC or Inc., not register as a business entity, and have standing to bring suit? I'm learning all this as fast as I can, but it's all lot to digest. Thank you.
