You will need to have your husband sign the disclosure form, because the Dept of Ed will pull your income tax files. The income contingent plan does consider your combined income, but for the amount of your loan, it will not be all that much. They will calculate a payment based on approximately a ten year payback period.

Give NO information to the CA! All they will do is use it against you. You are far safer giving that information directly to the Dept of Ed.

The CA will get their money...just not what they are asking from from YOU. The government will pay them from the "collection costs" they add to your loan total.
