i think maybe they have to come to the meeting to get their things back. zales tried that with me..i didnt reaffirm and got a letter like 6 months after the creditors meeting wanting the stuff back. if they do not show at the meeting..you can keep the stuff. its what the meeting is for..creditors to reclaim any collateral on a debt. up to you to see if they show up or not..sears used to on some cases. i do know they MUST show at that meeting to reclaim any merchandise in front of the trustee. if they dont show..they are SOL on getting it back. good luck.
