How did the settlement process work with CCC? Did they make an offer or did you? Were you close to charge-off? I am looking to do the same with CCC and I am about 150 days since last pmt. The have sent a letter mentioning settlement as an option. Up till now I have just not answered the phone. Caller ID and answering machine is great. It's better to avoid the charge-off if I can right?
