Northland is a bad debt buyer (pennies on the dollar). The account is probably passed the SOL, but they will try. If you get mail from them they are required to disclose the original creditor, although, I can tell you for sure that they don't always do that.

If they send you mail with an offer of settlement, IGNORE IT. Any reply will start a feeding frenzy and confirm your address and the fact that you are still breathing, if you get my drift.
