So true cat - I lost my job of 20 years last summer (we closed suddenly). I had HMO which was great, never paid a dime for me or my kid. Now I'm with a small firm who offers "fabulous" insurance coverage - I don't think so. I have a $250 deductible and then have to pay 10% of bill. It's a PPO plan and now I owe all kinds of money to docs/hospital for her tonsilectomy. I'd rather the HMO - both my doctor and hers were in the plan so we never had to switch. I don't think I'll be going to doctor again. Is there a Village/City Health clinic she can go to? Our village gives all the shots and routine physicals. P.S. I still don't think you've seen my old posts - WELCOME BACK.
