Hello- I live in Massachusetts.I'm looking at both my Experion & Equifax reports and have very different dates for an NCO collection acct. Equifax has DOLA as 5/97, there is nothing in the "date of 1st major deliquency reported" box and the OC is not referenced at all in the report. Experian references both NCO & the OC(UNVL/CITI). The NCO info reported has 1/01 as date reported, and 10/03 as recent payment date (although I never paid anything-I haven't even heard from NCO), they have a status as "past due as of 10/03 & collection as of 10/03." The OC lists past due as of 12/00 & charge-off as of 7/00 to 12/00 and 12/99 to 5/00, 10/99. They do not list the first delinquency.
Looking at the Equifax report, it would seem I'm protected by the SOL. The Experian dates confuse me though-they are much too recent. Can someone help me understand this? Thanks!
