For that amount and that long ago, NO...most probably not.

Most won't bother to pay for skip-tracing for a relatively small amount on an account that old. And most CA's, left to their own devices, can't find their own butts with both hands in their hip-pockets.

In my lifetime, I've had to argue with CA's calling for (over time) 5 different people I didn't know. At one location I got called for 7 years for the same woman. You'd think they'd have found her by then, and that they'd figure out they were calling the wrong party. But, oh no..... I'm dealing with another CA right now who is barking up the wrong tree.

So consider that it may be five years before they figure out that you're not where you used to be. Then again, they may just send a summons to your old address and get a default judgment when you don't show up.

Better to send them the SOL letter now and put them on notice that the account has passed the SOL.
