Most loan applications ask for 3 friends and acquaintances or personal references and 3 relatives that don't live in the same house as you, and they want the phone numbers and addresses for these references and your other creditors. I would think that OCs would make a master list of all these tidbits of info linked to their debtors then sell the list to each other, CAs, skiptracing sites, and sites like Net Detective, US Search, etc. If I had no soul, that's what I would do. No rock is too big for them to look under if there is a penny to be found under it. It would offset what they spend to find their delinquent debtors.
