In Washington state the written contract SOL:

"applies only to written contracts that contain all the essential elements of a contract: the subject matter, the parties, the promise, the terms and conditions, and in some jurisdictions, the price or consideration"
2000 Wash. App. LEXIS 579,*
TERRY A. BURAU, Appellant, v. COSTCO WHOLESALE CORPORATION, a Washington corporation, Respondent.

That definitely excludes credit card agreements. So the Open Account SoL apparently is alive and well in Washington state.
