Don't freak......this is bull. I had 75K in charge offs. Nobody found my friends or associates. They called my neighbors because they had my address. That's very easy. They did not find my relatives either.

It really is not in your best interest to send a Ceast and Desist letter if the account is within the SOL. That could trigger a law suit because you are letting them know that you give a hoot.

Best strategy is to ignore them. Protect assets, if you have any. And be prepared to be sued. By that I mean, just know that it MIGHT happen, and decide how you will handle it.
