Wow, I can't imagine a place that is like that. In my hospital they have signs posted that everyone will recieve care regardless of there ability to pay. Maybe it is my state. I really feel bad for you and your family. I know that when my husband broke his arm he had to go to the ER and ended up having surgery and staying overnight, we didn't have insurance. They didn't even ask us if we could pay the bill or how. I didn't receive a bill from them for about a month. That was a couple of years ago, I am still making them payments every month. He had to go back into the hosp. to get the plates removed. They didn't say anything to us about our bill. I am sorry I only meant to help to try and give you any ideas that you would benefit from.
