been there..did the "expecting them to be normal" thing..i think your doin all you can now..and cap 1 nor MRs is worth a crap, nor gives one. keep any violations you can prove for future need. and good luck to you! been there myself..still there with a kid in trade school..dont bother disputing anyways unless its not your debt. hugs***** if you must answer when a Ca calls..tell them NOTHING, its all to be used against you. and legally you do not have to tell them a thing but your name, should you want. be prepared for more CAs..i have gone thru triadvantage..collectcorp..ACEI...MRS..with cap1. they hire the scum of the scum. mine isnt sold yet. be prepared for any verbal abuse. they will dish it out badly. once its COed, cap1 will not have anything to do with the account. funny, as i was also told the same lie you were. i asked cap1 way back for some hardship program..they dont have one. best of luck! ps,, collectcorp uses indian collectors and they are hugely funny. cant speak english hardly. CAs wont negotiate..they will take some payments and then sue you. they lie. expect it all to be lies.
