If I remember correctly, you're in Texas? Perhaps the courts there are playing fast and loose with the rules.

Keep in mind that bk is a federal proceeding in a federal court and foreclosure happens in the state courts- However, you should have been notified of the proceedings. A woman in Florida held off bk for years by filing chapter 7 every time the condo association or the bank tried to foreclose (it was a scam- she never paid anything). A judge finally did end that saga.

If you have access to a library, see if you can find a do it yourself foreclosure book int the library- for your state- and find out what the procedures are. I always approach a case from the opposite side as I find out more information that way.


At this point, I'm not sure if there is anything that could be done to reverse damages or recover money.
