no question is ever stupid! its how we learn. yes, some states are more friendly than others, some have wage garnishment, some dont. some have homestead exemptions, some have shorter SOLS. texas is very friendly and boy, do they hate us here. hugs* to check each state..whychat has links to each ones particular statutes at his site.
