on 800 numbers

this may help someone--i dunno. a lot of companies use a 800 number and give workers access with a special code. that will show up on caller id at times and go back to a non working or not available number that rings or is busy. it may not trace back to the company at all. thats how they use so many numbers sometimes that arent "real" numbers...prepaid cells...phone cards..or simply accessing a 800 number by about 5000 callers at once.
