KayKay - I was recently sued by a debt buyer for Providian. Discovery is taken before trial - because mine was in small claims there was no discovery taken. Just make sure you go to the any and all hearings. Mine finally got dismissed right before the trial - they had no back-up. As the judge will tell you, they are the ones who have to prove the case, not you. You don't have to provide them anything. Just answer everything "no knowledge" like I did in my answer. Did you ever receive a summons to appear?
