just recieved first contact on alleged bill from 18+ years ago. does statute of limitations mean that they may have waited too long to contact me? they were really eager to get even the smallest amount of payment. was this to reset the debt date so could hound me? I can't even remember the debt. If on a credit card, which states limits apply? the state I lived in then, live in now, where card company based or where collection agency is? Any info appreciated.
