Have not read the 9 year story. Got letter yesterday from CA, trying to collect on VISA card account that has been totally dead since 1986 - 18 years without any action. I don't even know if I ever had the account and when I called them last night they only wanted me to send money-any money. I told them I didn't have such an account and to send me proof. I think they mostly wanted to reset the SOL clock and were very unhappy when I refused to play their games. Awiating their next action.
