60 day serve window. Does it include weekends and holidays?

Hi.... I have received a ummons to court in California. The window of 60 days is stipulated for the plaintiff to deliver to the defendant the summons. Does this window also include weekends and holidays and if the 60 day window has been passed (68 days) does it make a difference?
