hugsssss,, your fine! lol. lets see..and i have noted our experiences are diff in diff states so im sure JK and others will also help ya. i kept my checking account normal. they dont take tax returns and we work on 0 exemptions. they didnt touch our refund or checking. ever. keep all your paperwork and dont lose it like i did..it cost to get more copies. lol. its not a year here..it was 6 months i think..we couldnt have new money. like we would have! lol. opt out --you will get TONS of offers after its final. new cars..credit cards..we still get them. expect it and trash can 'em. the CAs or OCs cant say a word to you..its illegal once its discharged in BK. make sure the credit reports are correct tho and its all reported as IIBK. give it 6 months or so to be done right. hmmm, what else? if ya think of something, just ask. any money you did have wouldnt go directly to them anyways, it goes to the BK court to disperse as they see fit. we lost our land in it and it was sold. its not stupid to ask..i only know what i been thru and did. and i like you too! hugs*** we never kept that little in our account..we kept what we always did and could prove where it went..household expenses..and i never heard of or was told about the tax refund. we kept our same exemptions and all. they didnt touch ours. good luck!!! :) big hugs****
