VA SOL - Whychat

At dinner last night with friend (attorney - does not deal with consumer affairs) we discussed VA SOL.

He seems to think: VA Statute 8.01-249(8) In actions on an open account, from the later of the last payment or last charge..........refers to last payment on an open-ended account whether it was open or closed.

I know you tend to disagree with this thinking...your thinking that payment has to be an active account.

Any comments?
