I live in South Carolina and have not made any CC payments for at least 7 months. My MBNA account is trying to be collected by W&A I sent a Cease-Communications letter just 2 days ago but from what I am reading it does no good with these guys. My husband has a restaurant in his name only (not making any money yet) but the bank account for the business is in my name. We have a mortgage in my name only, my car a 98 is paid in full his is not. what can I do to protect my assets W&A on the phone the other day threatened me with taking my home, which by the way I told them it was 2 months behind and the bank would get it before they had a chance to. please help
