Your household furnishings, electronics, and so forth are all exempt in Chapter 7 bk. Don't worry about that. I filed chapter 7, and I have a house full of all the normal stuff. Furniture, applicances, TVs, DVDs. You will be required to list everything in your house which really is not pleasant, but unless you are importing fine art from Europe, the trustee is not interested in normal household items. They just aren't worth anything.

Some people worry about that. Nothing to worry about , so I like to put your mind at ease before you have time to worry about it.
