No, you are doing it all wrong. If they are calling for you, then you pretend to be her, if they are calling for her, then you are you.....they can't discuss the debt with you if they are calling her, and they can't discuss the debt with her if they are calling you. I never had this problem, they did not violate the FDCPA when calling. However, if you have that problem, it is easily solved. Tell them you are taping the conversation. Bet that shuts them up. I sound like my daughter too, not that makes one any difference, they don't know your voice or hers. The CA that eventually sued me did violate the FDCPA, but I never wanted even thought about suing them. Actually, didn't know very much about the FDCPA at the time. My revenge was that they did not get a dime for all their efforts. Skip tracing because I moved to a smaller house in a different state, time spent calling me and my neighbors and suing me in my home state. Even the sheriff thing that I was suspicious of......I didn't even tell you the whole story.....oh it gets really good. IT WAS NEVER ABOUT SUING THEM. IT WAS ABOUT WINNING, AND I DID.
