Jer - just think about it as "only money" and you should be a little more stress free - remember you can't take it with you and they can't take what you don't have. There are more important things in life to worry about than whether or not some Ahole CA is going to call, let them call, let them write, let them sue if they need to. Remember - there is no such thing as debtor's prison so the worse they can do is get a judgment against you so what - will that kill you? NO. Will you go to prison - NO. I keep thinking there are millions and millions of people in this boat - it's getting harder and harder for people just to pay their bills. But -you only live life once - think about the things that are really important to you. CA's are going to ALWAYS be the least of my worries - just always be sure to pay the rent/mortgage and keep your family healthy and happy and don't sweat the small stuff. Worries for me would include not being able to provide for my daughter, being sick, having no friends or family. The other stuff doesn't matter. SOL? Keep the faith - it will all work out and remember "time flies when you're having fun" so go out and have yourself some fun.
