Contacted by ca the other day by mail. I phoned them to see what it was all about. 18+year old texas debt. I think ca was camco, not sure away from home now. I told them on phone that I was disputing thier claim and to send proof. I asked them "what next?". they said they would turn over to "disput dept". What is next? do I need to follow up now with anything on paper? debt is only $1350, are they likely to sue over that amount. They wanted me to send "any money I could". I think that was just to reset sol clock. they sounded real disappointed when i refused. They have no phone numbers for me that i know of. Do I wait or take preventative action. At the very least I plan to have sol and answer letters prepared asap.
