Charities and political action, amongst others, are exempt from the no call list. You can try asking them when they call to remove you from their list, but there is nothing you can do to MAKE them stop. My Mom told one charity that kept called that she was now retired and didn't have enough money to live on and asked if would they give her some money. That charity stopped calling.
