Thanks Cat..Ill go to the link. I mustt have missed that one been everywhere. I have the papers here..original note Dec 1995 financed with an open line of credit it doesent look as it if was a secured note, I still dont have opriginal contract just the first original bill .Then note was purchased by another Nov 2002. and this is who we are dealing with. On April 2003 they filed a Final Default Judgement which was signed off by a Texas Judge.
July 2004 they filed a Writ of Garnishment after Judgement. Of course the Garnishemnt was lifted because funds were soley SS but im thinking they may Garnish again once they find out it was lifted. It doesent seem like they check before they Order Garnish on type of account .There should be on law on that if there isnt alreay. The Banks letter said all funds in acount and saftey deposit box would be withdrawn and applied to the garnishment. Funds in Account were SS deposited Aug 03 and things in deposit box are old pictures family papers history stuff and family bible marraige licensce n such.No Cash . My Mother is pretty close to dirt poor.
Ive learned a lot and I will keep reading I may have more questions I forgot to ask. Thanks for all the highlights and ideas.."I can see clearly now" or at least better than 3 days ago.
