Chase held onto my acct for 8 months before they charged it off. I am not quite sure what is normal for them, that's just my experience. I bounced in and out of a CA from them, but never had one permanetly (sp?). Out of all the OC's, Chase I felt was the most understanding and right before they charged off they offered to settle for $4000 of the $15000 balance. Hope this helps some and Good luck!
