We say ignore CAs AND protect assets. If you get sued, defend. They usually can't prove it in court.

The main reason I tell people to ignore CAs is simple enough. They lie, and it is less stressful if you just ignore them. Who needs to listen to lies and threats. AND, the bottom line is simple enough, if the consumer had the money to pay the debt, he would have.
