Try "USAA" bank. While they are mostly an internet bank, they offer great banking as long as she is not in 'telecheck' (if she is, once her debt is paid, this will go off of her record and she can open an account). You do not have to have a military affiliation to join. Their website is www.usaa.com. Call the number listed and they can set up an account for her over the phone. Go to www.chexvictims.com for information on non-chexsystems banks. I believe she will stay in the system for five years regardless of the bk.
