Hi, can anyone give me some advice. Being sued by Regent & Associates for a Citibank CC debt of 20K. Could never keep up with the account and then they raised the interest rate and I simply never had enough to make payments. I live in TX and have homestead on my house which I have little equity in. No savings or investments either. Mortgage and utility bills leave me only a few hundred to live on each month. Regent is trying to drag me into a mediation that they will charge me $400 for before I face a possible court date a few weeks later. I think a mediation is useless since I have no way to pay. Please help. Thanks
