I did a google search for the SOL for credit cards in Ohio.......... it doesn't have one for open accounts. And indeed, written contract is 15 years.
I can apologize, but I can't solve your problem. I am sure glad I don't live in Ohio. You should have protected your home long ago.

Ohio must be one of those state where attorneys claim credit cards to be written contracts.

In those cases, we always refer to federal law as it defines open accounts. Have you tried www.naca.net for a consumer attorney. Maybe an attorney who deals with this problem on a daily basis would know how to deal with it.
