I still can't find info on Head of Household defense. Not even for the state of FL where we know it exists. This is what I did find out that in California there is the federal expemtions and necessities of life defense. I did some research and found the federal definetions of necessaties of life by stated and in some cases county. For houseing/food they give a 1242 allowance For Transportation (to include gas and insurance) they give 300. For household expenses they provide a 904 excemption. And they have a formula for a car payment which I thin comes to about 400.00. So all of this comes to a 2693 deduction for my county and state if the IRS site can be used in my state. So that leave about 300 dollars a check of desposable income of which they would get about 76 dollars. I don't think it would be worth it to sue for that. Still gotta find that HOH defense. I suspect I can't find it because it doesn't exist in my state. But I want to know that before I give up. Does anyone know if Federal exemptions and IRS Federal exemptions are the same thing? Has anyone had a judgement and filed the neccessities of life paperwork? Thanks for any answers to this. Hopefull this info will help someone else. Check out the IRS site.
