They sued, and I filed Chapter 7. Tenants by the Entirety was my salvation. My debt was individual and I own my home with my husband. I think they sued because they saw that I had a large asset.

I always say, they aren't the brightest crayons in the box. I had 13 charge offs and they were the only ones that sued. My guess is that, as a Canadian Corp, they did not realize that here in America there are 50 states and 50 different sets of exemption laws.
