Are the letters addressed to you? If so, send a cease and desist/validation/dispute letter.

(The 1st letter on my website under special letters)

You have NO liability for your late husband's debts, unless you were a co-signer on the account.

If the letters are addressed to your late husband, use the same letter as above, and add, Mr. (name of your late husband) passed away xxxx leaving no estate.

Make sure you provide them with NO additional information.Send the letter CRRR. If they continue to write or call, file a complaint with the FTC and your State Attorney General's Office. If you are a senior citizen, add that information into any filed complaint.
